

Ballroom and Latin Dancing

Our Tuesday class at Low Hesket Village Hall is Ballroom and Latin Sequence dancing with new dances being taught occasionally.
As well as the social interaction with other dancers, there are definite health benefits in dancing regularly. To quote the NHS –
“Regular dancing is great for losing weight, maintaining strong bones, improving posture and muscle strength, increasing balance and co-ordination, and beating stress. There’s also evidence that regular dancing can improve heart health in older people.”
